Duties Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer experiences through effective supervision, training, and development. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards, proper food handling, and quality control. Manage daily shift operations, including scheduling staff, supervising service flow, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Control inventory levels through precise stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment. Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary techniques, and menu execution to uphold high-quality offerings. Supervise restaurant facilities and equipment maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere. Conduct staff interviews, onboarding sessions, and ongoing training programs to develop a skilled team. Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities. Experience Proven management experience in casual dining restaurants with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively within casual dining or fine dining environments. Hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary techniques; familiarity with food safety practices is required. Background in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the hospitality industry. Prior experience in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and implementing operational procedures. Strong leadership skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team motivation across diverse roles including bartending or barista experience is a plus.
