We are looking for a reliable, professional, and guest-focused leader to oversee daily Bistro operations and catering functions. This position requires strong organization, clear communication, hands-on leadership, and the ability to support both scheduled events and day-to-day Food & Beverage operations.
Work Duties:
  • Oversee daily Bistro operations, including opening, closing, staffing, service execution, and guest satisfaction
  • Manage catering functions, including event preparation, setup, execution, follow-up, and coordination with hotel departments
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and supervise Bistro staff while maintaining accountability and professionalism
  • Ensure Marriott brand standards, food safety requirements, company policies, and operational procedures are consistently followed
  • Maintain inventory, complete ordering, monitor waste, and help control food, beverage, labor, and supply costs
  • Prepare and serve food, Starbucks beverages, and alcoholic beverages as needed while supporting staff during busy periods
  • Operate Micros/POS systems, take guest orders, resolve guest concerns, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Bistro, kitchen, storage, and catering service area
  • Complete required checklists, logs, documentation, prep work, and shift/event planning accurately and on time
  • Work closely with Sales, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and hotel leadership to support smooth operations and successful events
  • Report to the General Manager/Management and support overall hotel goals, financial performance, and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Previous food and beverage experience required; management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Must be reliable, punctual, professional in appearance, and ready to work each scheduled shift
  • Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and catering events
  • Must be able to work Bistro shifts and step in when needed to maintain business operations and event coverage
  • Food Handler certification and TABC certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe
  • Strong customer service skills, leadership ability, communication skills, and attention to detail required
  • Must be comfortable managing staff, handling guest concerns, completing ordering/inventory, and maintaining brand standards
  • Must follow all company policies, procedures, food safety standards, and alcohol service requirements.
Pay:
$40,000.00
