Job Description

Restaurant ManagerTycoon | Flower Mound, TXTycoon is an upscale casual restaurant inspired by New American Cuisine and the vibe of coastal Mexico. We are committed to exceptional hospitality, elevated food and beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Restaurant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.

Position SummaryThe Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading daily dining room operations, coaching and developing the service team, maintaining exceptional hospitality standards, and ensuring smooth coordination between the front and back of house. This individual should be a natural leader who is passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.

Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership Lead by example through active floor presence during service. Coach, mentor, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff. Hold team members accountable to service and hospitality standards. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented culture.

Guest Experience Personally greet and engage guests throughout service. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Build relationships with regular guests and VIPs. Ensure every guest leaves with an exceptional dining experience.

Operations Manage daily dining room operations from open to close. Oversee reservations, waitlists, and seating flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout FOH. Ensure compliance with health, safety, alcohol service, and company policies. Manage inventory and ordering of LBW items and front-of-house supplies. Monitor labor to ensure staffing aligns with business levels.

Beverage Knowledge Possess or develop strong knowledge of our food, wine, cocktail, and Liquor Locker programs. Guide guests with wine and beverage pairings. Support beverage sales through education and upselling.

Administrative Responsibilities Complete daily manager reports. Verify cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation. Assist with scheduling. Support training and performance evaluations. Help implement operational systems and service improvements.

Qualifications Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in upscale casual or fine dining. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of POS systems (Toast experience preferred). Food Manager Certification. TABC Certification. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
