The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives on creating a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards. Lead, train, and develop staff members in food preparation, customer service, POS systems (including Aloha and Micros), and food safety protocols. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Supervise food handling and kitchen activities to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality. Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately. Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, managing customer flow during peak hours, and resolving operational issues swiftly. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment. Assist with food production processes related to casual dining, catering, banquet events, or bar service as needed. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for improvement in cost control and revenue generation. Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with all health department standards. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership responsibilities in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques including cooking, food handling, and food safety management. Strong organizational skills in inventory control, budgeting, and managing hospitality teams. Excellent communication skills for staff training & development as well as customer service excellence. Experience managing shift schedules and supervising kitchen operations within casual dining or hotel environments preferred. Ability to analyze financial data related to profit & loss statements for strategic decision-making.
