This pivotal role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to ensure exceptional food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, managing inventory, training staff, and upholding high standards of food safety and hospitality. Your leadership will drive a positive team environment and ensure our restaurant delivers memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, casual dining setting. Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Supervise and train kitchen staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques to foster skill development and team cohesion. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management, timely service, and excellent customer experiences. Utilize POS system, cash handling, and sales reporting. Lead staff hiring processes including interviewing candidates and conducting performance reviews to build a motivated team. Manage budget responsibilities related to food costs, labor expenses, and operational supplies while striving for efficiency. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in accordance with sanitation standards. Support catering, banquet events, or special functions as needed to expand service offerings. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of POS system along with cash handling expertise. Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates. Familiarity with inventory control practices, food safety standards, and budgeting processes in the food industry. Banquet or catering experience is a plus. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines; hospitality management background is highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
