- Full-time Front of House (FOH) ManagerPosition Summary Farina's Winery & Cafe is seeking an experienced and hands-on Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our service team and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leads by example, and is willing to work alongside the team by actively managing the dining room and serving guests when needed. Key Responsibilities Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train front-of-house team members. Create and manage weekly FOH schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels while maintaining labor goals. Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction. Work the floor during service, assisting staff, interacting with guests, and taking tables. Coach and develop employees through ongoing training, performance feedback, and accountability. Address guest concerns and resolve service issues promptly and professionally. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, menu updates, and promotions. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards throughout all guest-facing areas. Foster a positive team culture focused on hospitality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and alcohol service requirements. Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication and efficient service execution. Qualifications Previous restaurant management experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Proven ability to hire, train, and develop hospitality staff. Experience with employee scheduling and labor management. Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment and actively participate in service.
