As a quickly growing health food franchise, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead operations and drive success at our location. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store, from staff management to ensuring outstanding customer experiences and efficient store operations. As the General Manager, you will oversee all daily operations, ensuring that the store runs smoothly, profitably, and according to company standards. You will lead the team by example, maintaining a positive environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and meeting operational goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team of employees, ensuring all team members are aligned with the company's values and goals. Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to employees and shift leads to foster a productive and positive work environment. Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards. Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and operational excellence.Operations & Store Management:
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, cleanliness, and quality control. Manage the scheduling of employees to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak and non-peak hours while controlling labor costs. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and cleanliness protocols. Conduct regular store inspections and audits to ensure standards are consistently met.Customer Service:
Handle guest complaints or issues, ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving concerns quickly and professionally. Foster a welcoming and positive guest experience, ensuring that all customers are greeted warmly and served promptly. Drive customer loyalty through exceptional service and engagement, contributing to repeat business and customer retention.Financial Management:
Manage store financials, including tracking daily sales, controlling costs, and managing profit and loss (P&L) statements. Develop and execute plans to achieve financial targets and ensure profitability. Accurately manage cash handling procedures, including deposits, cash drawer management, and bank reconciliations.Inventory & Ordering:
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies and products to ensure optimal stock levels without over-ordering or waste. Conduct regular inventory counts, manage food cost control, and minimize waste. Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.Marketing & Community Engagement:
Implement local marketing strategies and participate in promotional events to increase brand awareness and sales. Foster relationships within the community to drive catering business, partnerships, and brand visibility. Ensure the store is aligned with national and local marketing campaigns and promotions.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a General Manager or in a leadership role within the quick-service restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team. Proven track record of achieving operational and financial goals. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Experience with P&L management and financial reporting. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Proficiency in restaurant management software, inventory management, and cash handling procedures. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business or hospitality management is a plus.What We Offer:
