Ohayo Sushi & Hibachi is seeking an energetic and dependable Assistant Restaurant Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily restaurant operations Supervise servers and front-of-house staff Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction Assist with staff scheduling and training Handle customer concerns professionally Monitor cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant standards Support inventory control and ordering Assist ownership with operational and marketing initiatives Open and close the restaurant as needed
Qualifications:
Restaurant management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Reliable, punctual, and professional Experience with POS systems is a plus Sushi, Japanese, or Asian restaurant experience is a plus
