Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring smooth shift transitions. Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance performance and teamwork. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Implement customer service standards that promote guest satisfaction and foster repeat business. Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training to build a skilled and motivated team. Monitor budgeting processes to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality service delivery. Oversee restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance to create an inviting atmosphere aligned with brand standards. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure positive resolutions that reinforce guest loyalty. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling across various dining styles including casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet settings. Proven management skills with supervising experience in fast-paced restaurant environments; adept at team management and leadership. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting accuracy. Expertise in inventory control, food safety standards, budgeting, and food production processes. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to train staff on hospitality best practices. Ability to oversee shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Experience in hospitality management roles within hotel or bar settings is a plus; familiarity with culinary operations enhances effectiveness. Skilled in interviewing potential team members and fostering staff development through training & development initiatives.
