Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate staff meetings. Monitors operational performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency. Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to sanitary regulations. Address employee and customer concerns. Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives. Monitor spending patterns and budget. Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales. Maintain safe working conditions. Follow company policies and procedures regarding handling of cash, property, products and equipment. Liaise between managers, customers and employees. Fill in for General Manager in times of absence. Make executive decisions and provide accountability. Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary. Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement. Troubleshoot POS system. Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment. Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assists in recruiting, hiring and training staff. Daily supervision of staff including communication regarding company policies, standards and procedures. Assists in staff annual reviews in conjunction with the General Manager. Partners with the General Manager to request and review staff disciplinary action as needed. Serves as a resource for staff by answering questions, conducting training, preparing educational materials, and mentoring. Monitors staff assignments, schedules, and completion of job function and ensures coverage.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 2+ Years' experience in the restaurant industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Previous managerial experience a plus.
