Job Description

A manager at Chick-fil-A is the one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our managers are responsible for supporting the senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of operational excellence and our recipe for service. A Manager's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Our Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Managers will be assigned opening and closing shifts as well as effectively manage the staff within these shifts. As a manager you will ensure that all processes and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis by all team members.
Responsibilities include:
Hold team members accountable to properly prepare and package all menu items according to CFA Standards. Coach team members when processes or procedures are not followed Ensure team members work with a sense of urgency Adhere to all cleaning and safety issues within the restaurant Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs Treat all team members with respect and dignity while delegating daily duties Communicates all issues with team members and guests to Management team in a timely manner Ensure that all guests are served at all touch points (F2f, Dining room, delivery, curbside. Via telephone) Lead by example- must adhere to all CFA policies and procedures. Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Be a friendly, encouraging team player Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Count drawers and finalize day Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Qualifications and Requirements:
Responsible for Opening and Closing the Business Open Availability-available 35- 40 hours per week Available to work weekends (Friday / Saturday) Available to perform 3 Opening/Closing shifts per week Highly Dependable Servant Spirit with a strong sense of stewardship High Integrity and Honest Thrive in a fast-paced high stressed environment. Adapt to change quickly and efficiently Ability to multi-task Heart of a mentor Make Emotional Connections with Guests Reliable transportation Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
