We are seeking an energetic and motivated Bar Manager to lead our dynamic bar team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service, quality, and safety. Your leadership will drive the success of our bar, creating a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and has a deep understanding of food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Supervise all bar operations, including preparation, drink service, and customer interactions to ensure a seamless experience. Lead staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular training and inspections. Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels for busy periods, and handle shift management duties efficiently. Collaborate with upper management to meet standards. Implement strategies for upselling beverages and food items to maximize revenue. Conduct interviews for new team members, participate in hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes. Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to uphold our reputation for outstanding hospitality. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on bar or beverage service. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Demonstrated supervising experience within hospitality management or restaurant management roles. Background in fine dining or casual dining settings with banquet or catering experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with a history of staff training & development, team management, and interviewing candidates. Familiarity with inventory control practices, budgeting, and food & beverage cost management. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Experience working in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous.
