Job Description

Job Summary We are on the lookout for an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team to success. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and drive the overall profitability of the restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, skilled in team leadership, and has a strong background in food service management. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold high standards of food quality and safety, and create a welcoming environment for guests. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supervising team members to ensure smooth daily activities. Oversee food preparation and kitchen management to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. Implement and monitor POS systems such as Toast for efficient order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, manage food costs, and oversee food safety protocols to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Train staff on customer service excellence, food handling procedures, and operational standards to foster a motivated team. Conduct regular performance evaluations, interview potential hires, and support staff development through ongoing training initiatives. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth while ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Extensive background in food industry operations including food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety management. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead hospitality teams effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service. Prior experience in supervising staff, managing budgets, conducting training & development sessions, and performing shift management. Knowledge of catering, banquet services, bar operations, or hotel experience is a plus. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management, culinary expertise, and operational excellence.
