So, join our family, where every meal is a celebration of our shared values! About the Role - Assistant Manager! At Siempre Natural, our Assistant Managers are the culinary co-captains! As an Assistant Manager you lead by exemplifying teamwork, our values, and are central in achieving our mission. The Assistant Manager is truly a team player by working closely with both the manager and the team. They areresponsible for overseeing daily operations, managing, training staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. The Assistant Manager will also assist in creating schedules, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations all while providing next level customer and employee experiences. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist in managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. It's chartering the course! Supervise and train staff members, including providing ongoing feedback and coaching. Let's chat. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards. A top priority! Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints and inquiries. We aim for next level! Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure optimal stock levels. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and drive profitability. #Goals! Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant. Assist team members in the set-up, preparation, and serving of menu items as needed. Afterall, you are the master expeditor. Set up, label, stock, and transfer all necessary supplies and ingredients in their proper place and ensure they are easily accessible. Organization is key. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen/work area that reflect pride and respect, e.g. wash trays and cooking equipment, clean floors, sanitize countertops, sanitize cutting boards, and maintain all areas to health code standards. Maintain a clean and organized restaurant by making sure all waste is removed and the surfaces are sanitized at the end of the work shift and/or day. Comply with food sanitation guidelines and safety rules. Collaborate with the manager and team to ensure the best guest and employee experience. We are talking next level! Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to a tee. Assist in developing new menu item ideas. Perform other duties as assigned by management. About You! You love fresh flavors, doing the right thing, being part of and leading a thriving team, and giving back to the community. You have a high school diploma or equivalent and are preferably bilingual (English/Spanish). You have previous experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant, preferably in a supervisor or above role. You are organized, efficient, have an eye for detail and a passion for not just delivering a great customer experience but also developing and engaging your team for a stellar employee experience. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to make every customer and employee feel heard. Smile! You have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure with a stay cool attitude. You have knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and stay abreast of updates. You know restaurant management software and can navigate your way on a POS system. You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). You are looking for flexibility and can work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. About The Perks!
