General Manager - Restaurant Rockport, TX 78382 Full-time Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General /Kitchen Manager to lead our bustling restaurant operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily functions, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and smooth management of staff and resources. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the restaurant's success while fostering a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members. Responsibilities Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision to ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maintain profitability Supervise the training, development, and performance of staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all departments Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Coordinate shift management to optimize staffing levels during busy periods while maintaining excellent service standards Implement strategies for continuous improvement in food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency Requirements Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with strong supervising skills Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential Background in hospitality management with a focus on food service management and team leadership Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive work environment through training & development initiatives Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within the food industry Strong communication skills with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus Knowledge of kitchen management practices along with culinary experience preferred Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and customer service standards Join us as our General /Kitchen Manager - Restaurant and be at the forefront of creating exceptional dining experiences!
