Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a smooth and efficient restaurant environment. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and drive overall performance to deliver memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff during shifts and ensuring smooth service flow Support staff training and development to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service Oversee food preparation and food handling procedures to meet health regulations and quality benchmarks Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Supervise kitchen management activities, including food production, cooking processes, and maintaining cleanliness standards Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff members to build a strong team Support management in budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets for the restaurant Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and shift supervision Familiarity with inventory control practices and food industry regulations Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Prior experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus; barista or coffee experience is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding food service experiences! $40,667.31 - $51,018.70 per year
