In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team engagement. Your leadership will drive the success of the restaurant by fostering a positive environment, maintaining high standards for food quality and safety, and achieving business goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards. Manage and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a high-performance team. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards. Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement effective stock management strategies using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, reconciliations, and reporting. Supervise shift management to optimize staffing levels, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by enforcing health and safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, and menu offerings to ensure consistency and excellence. Manage customer relations by addressing feedback promptly and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. Monitor financial performance against budgets; implement strategies for revenue growth and cost control in areas like food management and labor. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a strong background in supervising teams within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems Toast; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, interviewing, and team management. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Prior experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is advantageous; catering or banquet experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
