Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Bar General Manager to lead in the
GRAND OPENING
of our new bar operations in the Texas Hill Country. This pivotal role combines leadership, hospitality management, and small kitchen oversight to create an exceptional experience for our guests. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee staff, ensure top-tier customer service, maintain food and beverage quality, and uphold safety standards. Your passion for the food and beverage industry will inspire your team to deliver memorable moments in a lively, high-class environment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate bar staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and supervising team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee daily bar operations, including shift management, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage food preparation processes related to bar offerings, ensuring quality and consistency in all beverages and light food items. Supervise cash handling procedures, POS system operations and reconcile daily sales to ensure accuracy. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and minimizing waste while controlling costs effectively. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and alcohol licensing laws while fostering a safe environment for staff and guests. Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, special events, catering services, and banquet functions to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven management experience within a restaurant or bar environment; prior restaurant or hospitality management experience is required. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and experience with cash handling procedures is required. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and development. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement effective inventory control strategies. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
