You will guarantee that each guest receives world-class service by working directly with them to book banquet space and present options that match their needs and budgets. We also require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to supervise the banquet crew and maintain the best quality of hotel services. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in management, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Compensation:
$18 - $19 hourly
Responsibilities:
Create departmental rules, processes, quality standards, and cost-cutting strategies to continually enhance the customer-focused banquet area Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service Ensure a quality product is provided by communicating with clients about banquet event options that match their budget, and go over any adjustments, questions, or concerns Communicate all event orders to on-site banquet staff members, so they are aware of their roles and obligations Document the outcome of each event to assess and make improvements on future events and processes
Qualifications:
Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience 3+ years managing a team in a hospitality role or equivalent culinary role High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Higher education degree in hospitality or hospitality management is a plus Must have excellent customer service and communication skills Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) About Company With a team of industry veterans, seasoned managers, and emerging leaders, we bring an unmatched combination of experience, competence, and innovation to our daily operations and developing projects.
