Job Description
Overview We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our hospitality team. This role is all about steering the ship—overseeing daily operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, hospitality, and team leadership, ready to drive success across all facets of restaurant management. Duties Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision. Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and proper food handling practices to ensure quality and compliance. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training, and performance evaluations. Handle shift management by coordinating schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and maintaining smooth workflow. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor budgeting activities, control costs related to food production and labor, and implement strategies for profitability. Requirements Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food industry operations. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews. Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and hospitality management best practices. Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in diverse environments.
