Job Description

Job Overview Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and food service management? We're seeking an energetic and motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant cafe. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain smooth restaurant functions. Your expertise in managing staff, controlling inventory, and delivering top-notch food service will drive our cafe's success and create a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties Lead and supervise all aspects of cafe operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness. Oversee staff training, development, and scheduling to foster a motivated and efficient team. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Utilize POS systems such as Square POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for food handling and sanitation. Coordinate shift management to optimize workflow during busy hours while maintaining excellent service levels. Implement operational procedures for quick service environments, including food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold our reputation for outstanding hospitality. Monitor budget adherence and assist with financial planning to support the cafe's profitability. Experience Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurant settings. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with fine dining or casual dining experience preferred. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated success in supervising staff, conducting interviews, and leading training & development initiatives. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational efficiencies. Previous roles in hospitality management or restaurant management that showcase leadership skills in a fast-paced environment are essential.
