Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the restaurant floor to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance performance and promote teamwork. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee the operation of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas. Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Collaborate with kitchen management to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality service. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Knowledge of food handling procedures, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and financial management within a restaurant setting. Familiarity with quick service & fast food operations as well as fine dining experience is preferred. Ability to train staff in various aspects of restaurant operations including food production, catering, bar service, and more. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management alike. Experience in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus.
