This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence. As the cornerstone of our team, you will oversee daily restaurant functions, manage staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and foster a vibrant hospitality atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire teams to achieve their best, elevate service standards, and contribute to the overall success of the establishment. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure seamless daily functioning. Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, and performance management to cultivate a motivated and skilled team. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize loss. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations through regular inspections and staff training. Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business. Coordinate shift schedules, oversee food production processes including catering or banquet services if applicable, and supervise kitchen operations for efficiency. Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, culinary techniques, hospitality management, and safety protocols. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food quality, service standards, and operational procedures to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food industry operations. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively through staff training, interviewing potential hires, and managing shifts. Strong understanding of inventory control procedures along with food safety management practices aligned with industry standards. Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff while maintaining high standards of customer service. Familiarity with budgeting processes, profit & loss analysis, and cost control strategies to ensure financial health of the restaurant. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in the food service sector is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills combined with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.
