Job Description

The Barbeque Exchange is looking for a qualified restaurant professional to join our world class management team. The Barbeque Exchange is listed as one of America's top 100 Barbecue Restaurants and received top honors for The Food Networks "best pork sandwich in America 2019" Our managers are some of the best in the business and we strive to develop the best qualities of hospitality management in our management team. Qualifications include; management experience, dependability, passion for service, solid team player, warm personality, gracious host and a desire to be part of something great. You will be working the front line with the staff daily, opening or closing the line, along with supervising the staff and restaurant. Responsibilities Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints Regularly review product quality and research new vendors Organize and supervise shifts-work the front line daily Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations Skills Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Supervisor or a similar role. Proven customer service experience as a manager Food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
