Cafe Manager

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and service-driven Cafe Manager to join our team at Starnut Gourmet. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and takes pride in leading a team with excellence, organization, and positive energy. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with flexible morning and afternoon hours, with occasional weekend support as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily café operations with a strong focus on organization, efficiency, and consistency Ensure exceptional customer service and an elevated guest experience at all times Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and beverage preparation Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other café offerings Take orders, assist customers, and support reservations and service flow Oversee staff performance, provide guidance, and foster a respectful, professional team environment Communicate effectively with ownership to implement systems, improvements, and operational needs Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking Step in wherever needed to ensure the café runs smoothly and efficiently What We're Looking For Prior experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality management role Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team Excellent communication skills — both with staff and ownership High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail A proactive mindset with the ability to follow processes and execute at a high level Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality Willingness to be hands-on and lead by example in all areas of the business What We Value At Starnut Gourmet, we value individuals who bring energy, integrity, and pride in their work.
