Job Description
About the Role We are seeking an organized, hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and fulfillment environment. This role is responsible for helping manage inventory, coordinating production flow, supporting quality assurance, and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for installation crews, wholesale customers, and internal teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operations, solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work in a growing company. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day production and warehouse operations Manage and track inventory levels, material usage, and stock organization Support quality assurance efforts to ensure products meet company standards Coordinate order fulfillment and verify pick lists for accuracy Prepare production packets and materials for field crews and customers Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment Work closely with office staff, sales teams, and installers to keep projects moving smoothly Assist in developing and improving operational processes and systems Receive and organize incoming materials and shipments Help identify inventory shortages and communicate reorder needs Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, or operations environments preferred Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks Comfortable working both independently and with a team Basic computer skills required Experience with inventory or ERP systems such as Fishbowl, JobBOSS, or QuickBooks is a plus Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to learn) Ability to lift and move materials as needed What We Offer Stable full-time work with growth opportunities Team-oriented environment Opportunity to help improve and shape operations Competitive hourly pay based on experience
