The Irishmen, an authentic Irish pub in the heart of downtown Everett, is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to help lead daily front-of-house operations and support a high-energy pub environment centered around exceptional guest experiences, strong team culture, and operational excellence. This role will work closely with the Bar Manager to oversee front-of-house staff while ensuring smooth service, consistent execution, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests rooted in the traditional Irish pub experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead and direct FOH staff on effective methods, operations and procedure. Manage daily operations of the front-of-the-house functions in the pub, including appearance, presentation, customer experience and professional leadership. Coordinate with employees to complete scheduling, inventory control, and bartending. Train new and current employees on the company's policies and procedures and the POS system (Toast). Monitor inventory levels for liquor, beer, wine, and supplies, conduct weekly inventories, and occasionally place orders. Assist with various managerial duties such as hiring and training of new employees, employee scheduling, and booking entertainment.
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years in bartending/hospitality role (supervisory role a plus) High school diploma/GED MAST certificate and Food Handlers certificate Beverage knowledge (Irish Whiskey a BIG plus!) Experience in inventory management, leadership, and conflict resolution Proficiency in POS systems (Toast)
