Restaurant Manager

Chandani, Bhupander T/As The Curry Affair is a well-established Indian restaurant located at 2/11 Exchange Rd, Malaga WA 6090, proudly serving authentic Indian cuisine for over 10 years. Known for our handcrafted spice blends and freshly prepared dishes, we deliver a true taste of India using traditional cooking methods and locally sourced ingredients. Our menu offers a wide range of options, including vegetarian, vegan, and Halal-certified meals, alongside dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and catering services As a busy and well-established venue, we are currently seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience to lead our front-of-house operations and support the continued growth of our business.

Salary:

$72,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

? Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and smooth service ? Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, including rostering, training, and performance management ? Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and feedback ? Monitor restaurant sales, expenses, and profitability, and implement cost-control measures ? Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages ? Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory control ? Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations ? Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service standards ? Manage reservations, functions, and special events as required ? Ensure the restaurant premises are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times ? Maintain records of financial transactions, staff attendance, and operational activities ? Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace policies, licensing requirements, and industry standards

Requirements:

? Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role ? Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks ? Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, customer service, and staff supervision ?
