Assistant Front of House Manager

About South Fork Public House South Fork Public House is a fast-paced, community-focused restaurant dedicated to great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Front of House Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and deliver outstanding guest experiences every day. Position Summary The Assistant Front of House Manager supports daily restaurant operations by assisting with staff leadership, guest service, scheduling, and floor management. This role works closely with ownership and management to maintain service standards, team culture, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Support and supervise front-of-house staff during service Lead by example in hospitality and customer service Assist with hiring, training, and coaching team members Help create and manage employee schedules Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently Monitor cleanliness, organization, and service standards Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Assist with opening and closing procedures Support inventory, ordering, and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is a plus Current food handler or MAST permit preferred (or ability to obtain) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and team-oriented workplace Employee discounts Dynamic and energetic work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction outlining your experience and interest in joining the South Fork Public House team.
