Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our dynamic bar team and elevate the guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food and beverage standards, and manage all aspects of bar management with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Lead and supervise the bar team, including staff training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure high standards of service and efficiency Oversee food preparation and beverage service, ensuring quality control in line with health and safety regulations Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures across all operations Supervise kitchen operations related to bar service, including food production for cocktails, snacks, or light meals Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a lively yet professional environment that encourages repeat visits Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, ongoing training & development to foster a motivated team culture Analyze profit and loss reports regularly to identify opportunities for growth and cost control Coordinate shift management ensuring smooth transitions between team members during busy hours Requirements Proven experience managing bars or restaurants with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and beverage service Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and cash handling Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within the food industry Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Previous experience in managing hospitality teams through training & development initiatives Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Kitchen management experience including food production or catering is highly desirable Hospitality management background with a focus on team leadership and operational excellence Join us as a Bar Manager where your passion for hospitality will inspire your team while delivering memorable experiences for our guests.
