JOB SUMMARY

Mixes and bakes ingredients according to recipes to produce breads, pastries and other baked goods. Creates an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.

WORK HOURS

Scheduled hours will vary. The need is part time, weekends and Monday. Most shifts are early morning or overnight hours. May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Although we are interested in providing our employees with a stable work schedule, our ability to do so depends on our assessment of work needs and business conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends and have at least 3 years baking experience. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Place orders with established suppliers Receive products from vendors and verify that quantities delivered are invoiced and correspond to quantities ordered. See that invoices for products are received and forwarded to the main office for processing. Computer skills need to fill out weekly report for main office. Conduct a monthly physical inventory. Write weekly schedule for department and control labor costs. Teach new employees various tasks and techniques associated with their assignments. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting, friendly and efficient person with: Exceptionally high level of professionalism. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Above-average organizational skills. Verbal and written communication skills. 1. Ideal candidate will have experience working in a bakery setting. 2-years previous experience as a baker preferred. 2. Must be able to follow recipes as written along with other instructions and procedures 3. Must be age 21 or older 4. Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees 5. Effective time management skills, strong work ethic and integrity

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.52 per hour
