Front of House Manager

We are looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team and WCKT. This is an hourly position, full-time. Weekend availability needed.

Job duties include:

Oversee front-of-house staff and ensure work is getting doneInteract with guests to ensure a positive guest experienceProblem-solve guest issues as neededFloat around the floor to assist staff when busy (This can include seating guests, starting tables, making drinks, running drinks, helping the expediter, busing tables)Phase staff when appropriate to keep labor at acceptable levelsCheck sidework and closing duties before staff leaveHelp in the training of new staff, and ongoing training for current staffUphold our standards for cleanliness and serviceAssign cleaning projects during downtimeLight paperwork duties (counting money bags, checking mail, voicemail)We are looking for someone who is not afraid to jump behind the bar and help the bartender make drinks, bus tables, run food, or see a guest in need of something and go help them, not run away from the problem. The right individual is comfortable leading a team of 5-15 staff during a shift to ensure every guest has a positive experience. We are a busy restaurant, looking for someone who can handle a bit of stress. Good communication, restaurant experience, and management are a must.

This position is hourly and reports to the General Manager. Starting wage 25$ per hour. After training, we will review for a raise, up to 32$ per hour. Please reach out with a resume and any other information you would like to include, and we will respond to set up interviews.
