Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of the hotel operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient staff supervision, and smooth daily functions. Your leadership will help drive sales, optimize inventory management, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Duties Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food service departments Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to promote staff growth and retention Supervise team members to ensure high standards of customer service, cashiering, and store management Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock management to maximize profitability Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Collaborate on marketing initiatives and sales strategies to boost retail sales and wireless sales performance Skills Strong negotiation, management, and leadership abilities with supervisory experience in retail or hospitality settings Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual skills are a plus Proven experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and employee orientation Proficiency with POS systems, retail math, budgeting, merchandising, inventory management, and store operations Skilled in customer service excellence, phone etiquette, organizational skills, and time management Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment Experience with marketing strategies and promotional activities within a retail or grocery store setting Join us as an Assistant General Manager to lead with enthusiasm!
