Job Description

DJ's Dockside Resort We're looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team and help lead the day-to-day in a newly renovated, chef-led kitchen serving elevated tavern food that's approachable, satisfying, and worth the drive. If you take pride in your work, care about your team, and enjoy running a kitchen the right way, this is a great opportunity to step into something special. Pay & Schedule $48,000 - $58,000 base salary (based on experience) Plus tips $1,000 signing bonus (paid quarterly during your first year) 45-50 hours per week Eligible to participate in 401K after the first year Wednesday-Sunday schedule Performance based bonus potential after the first year About the Kitchen You'll be working alongside a chef who's built his career in kitchens where standards matter and details count—but who also understands the importance of a strong team and a good culture. Trained in Paris, where he developed a deep respect for technique and quality ingredients Spent years running high-volume kitchens in New York City, where consistency was everything Worked with brands like Disney and the Crowne Plaza, where the guest experience always comes first He brings that same level of care and professionalism here—but in a setting where people work hard, support each other, and take pride in what they're building. What You'll Do Help lead daily kitchen operations and keep service running smoothly Support, train, and motivate the team Maintain strong standards for food quality and cleanliness Handle ordering, receiving , inventory, and cost contro l Work side-by-side , on the line , with the chef and line cooks to prepare and execute the menu consistently
