Full Job Description About Us:

Stella's Bakery has been a Madison staple since 1988 and is the proud home of The Original Hot and Spicy Cheese Bread™. Our vibrant Regent Street location features a lively café alongside a beer and wine patio-bar. We serve a dynamic clientele of UW students, university staff, local professionals, and dedicated community members.

The Role:

We are seeking a self-motivated, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will help manage daily staff operations while actively participating in daily bakery production. Tasks include prepping baked goods, baking, crafting sandwiches, and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong organization and communication skills. Confidence to suggest operational improvements. Proven customer service experience. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced setting. Culinary experience. Preferred (Bonus)

Skills:

Valid bartender's license. Background in marketing or social media. Experience in staff management and training. Professional food preparation experience, and bakery production.

Schedule:

Thursday through Monday.

Shift times:

11:00 AM - 6:15 PM (Extended to 9:15 PM on Fridays and Saturdays).
