Operations Job Overview:
As the Multi-Unit General Manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations within your cafe's. As the leader of our cafe' team, you are responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, staff management, maintaining quality standards, and driving business growth. Ideally, your passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and inviting guest atmosphere will turn your cafe's into a favorite locale in the community.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations across multiple cafe' locations Identify and address unique challenges at each location, such as staffing shortages, equipment issues and operational inefficiences Travel regularly between locations to ensure seamless operations to provide hand-on management approach Effectively scheduled staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labor costs amid budgetary constraints Manage cafe' finances, cash deposits, revenues tracking, expense management, register reconciliations, and adhere to accounting policies Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize and improve performance, profitability, and staff engagement Train new managers, coach staff, evaluate team member performance and feedback Promptly respond to customer inquiries, complaints and feedback Conduct regular inspections of cafe' premises, equipment, food quality, cleanliness, sanitation and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications/Skills:
Preferred Education/Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. 1 year of leadership experience preferred. Prior café or coffee shop experience a plus. Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software. Food handlers' card and liquor license (when applicable). Current driver's license (when applicable).
