Built by Swiss immigrants who came to Wisconsin to make it home, it has been a gathering place, a dining room, a stage, and a community anchor for generations. The building is being fully restored — listed on the National Historic Registry — and reopening in Q4 2026. This is not a new concept looking for an audience. It is a 170-year-old story looking for the right people to carry it forward. We believe the best hospitality is the kind nobody asked for. We are looking for a General Manager to join the opening leadership team of this food-and-beverage-led property, rooted in Wisconsin supper club tradition and Swiss Alpine culinary heritage. The GM owns day-to-day operational leadership and decision-making. You are the authority in the building. The Property The Yodel Room — restaurant, sunken bar, outdoor patio above Main Street The Roger Bright Stage — historic live music stage Fondue Stube — intimate private dining Keller Lounge — gathering space, private events, festival activation Eight boutique hotel rooms on the third floor Wisconsin supper club culture with Swiss Alpine heritage — the differentiator in the region What You Will Own Full property operations across all spaces and shifts Team hiring, development, and culture — building a hospitality team that makes every guest feel welcomed home Cross-department coordination across F&B, events, lodging, and kitchen Systems, SOPs, and accountability structures built from the ground up Full P&L ownership — labor, COGS, vendor relationships, revenue performance Events, private dining, and buyout execution Who We Are Looking For Strong F&B background — restaurant, supper club, or BOH experience. Accommodations experience a plus. Opening or team-build experience strongly preferred Wisconsin or Midwest rooted — knowledge of supper club culture matters here Leadership maturity — sets clear expectations, develops people, stays steady under pressure Financially sharp — owns a P&L, manages labor, makes decisions with real numbers Familiar with modern hospitality systems — POS, reservations, scheduling platforms Builder mentality — energized by creating something, not just maintaining it Practices unreasonable hospitality — goes beyond what is expected, notices what others miss, and understands that a guest's experience is shaped as much by the moments nobody planned as the ones that were.
