Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient management of staff, and the achievement of business goals. Your leadership will reinforce the Chicken Salad Chick Culture and inspire the team to deliver high-quality food and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to drive success and foster a positive, energetic workplace culture. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Oversee kitchen management, including food safety, food handling, inventory control, and food production processes. Manage POS systems, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Supervise staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to hospitality standards. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels, reduce waste, and control costs while maintaining excellent customer service. Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for restaurant staff and management team members. Maintain compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures across all restaurant areas. Oversee budgeting activities including cost control, food management, and financial reporting to meet business objectives. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and customer satisfaction. Support catering and other special events to diversify revenue streams. Requirements Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with supervising responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems and strong cash handling skills required. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures. Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles with a focus on team leadership and training & development. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-energy environment. Excellent communication skills for interviewing staff, training teams, and engaging with customers.
