Job Description
Overview Bridgeport Country Club is seeking an experienced and driven Business Manager with a strong background in food and beverage operations to oversee and elevate the club's daily operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional member experiences, efficient business performance, and high-quality dining and event services. Experience Required
- 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, country club, or upscale restaurant operations
- Strong background in food & beverage management
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and hospitality software preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred) Essential Responsibilities Food & Beverage Operations
- Oversee all dining outlets, bar services, and special events
- Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards
- Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu development, pricing, and seasonal offerings
- Monitor inventory, cost controls, and vendor relationships
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations Club Operations & Management
- Manage day-to-day club operations, ensuring seamless service across all departments
- Supervise and support department heads and staff
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Enhance overall member satisfaction and engagement Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Monitor revenue streams including dining, events, and memberships
- Control expenses and improve profitability without compromising quality
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategic improvements Event & Member Experience
- Oversee planning and execution of private events, weddings, and club functions
- Ensure high-touch, personalized service for members and guests
- Address member feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally Staff Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff across food & beverage and operations
