Full Job Description Supervision and Leadership:

Supervise and instruct 1-3 Budtenders per shift, overseeing and reporting on their development in areas including but not limited to: Performing digital menu maintenance. Customer de-escalation strategies. Return processing. Interpersonal team building skills. Proper cash handling protocols. End-of-batch management (i.e.- Game Over protocols).

Communication:

Communicate with the Enlighten Management Team regarding what the daily and weekly deals and goals are and communicate those with all budtenders on shift. Process and troubleshoot returns. Take the lead with tech malfunctions (scanners/printers/registers/POS system) and communicate promptly with Store Manager when tech malfunctions occur if you cannot solve them.

Inventory Management:

Receive deliveries into METRC for any incoming order that comes after 6pm or on weekends (when necessary) and communicate that with Inventory Specialist. Collaborate with the Inventory Specialist to develop and execute quarterly rotating sales floor merchandising plans.

Customer Service:

Deliver at-the-counter customer service and perform polite ID checks. Perform paper menu maintenance and online order assembly. Deliver product knowledge in person and on the phone.

Cash Handling:

Cash handling, cash drawer oversight, cash tips reporting, cash tips disbursement. Open and close cash drawers with an accurate count. Report any inaccuracies or discrepancies for cash drawers directly to Store Manager at the time of discovery for further review.

Sales Floor Preparation:

Perform final assembly of goods in preparation for sales floor, up to and including: Tube Pre-Rolls Sticker Projects Sales Floor Organization Maintain general cleanliness of lobby, sales counter, employee bathroom, and kitchenette/break room. Re-stock front end consumable goods (exit bags, flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, receipt paper, merch, etc.) during, and at the close of each shift. •

Technical Disclaimer:

This position requires the development of a mastery of several tech platforms and systems, including but not limited to the following, MetrC, WeedMaps, Sprout, Zebra Label-Maker Software, Dutchie, Excel, Word, and Canva. (Please disclose which of these you currently have a familiarity with in your application.) Preferred Skills and Experience Knowledge of Alaska's cannabis products, brands, cultivation/extraction methods, safe consumption practices, and a general familiarity with cannabis culture. A valid marijuana handler's permit for the State of Alaska. Exceptional communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Exceptional standard of cleanliness. Ability to lead an effective team that optimizes strategies to fit people's strengths.
