Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Shift Leader and become the driving force behind delivering exceptional dining experiences! Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels, monitor food supplies, and coordinate with kitchen staff to minimize waste. Enforce food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Train new team members on food handling, service procedures, and operational standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times. Assist in managing restaurant budgets, monitor labor costs, and support overall food service management efforts. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and quick service or fast-food restaurant environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions. Excellent leadership skills with a background in supervising teams within hospitality or food industry settings. Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Exceptional customer service abilities with experience in casual dining or fine dining settings. Ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment through coaching and development. Competence in managing shift operations, including budgeting, food production, and catering coordination.
