In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and lead a motivated team to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety standards, and foster a positive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about culinary excellence, team management, and hospitality management to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced setting. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a skilled and motivated team capable of delivering exceptional service. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maintain optimal food costs. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and efficiency. Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment. Lead shift management by coordinating tasks, resolving operational issues promptly, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours. Assist with food production for catering, banquets, or special events as needed while maintaining quality standards. Support staff interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to develop culinary skills and customer service excellence. Monitor budget adherence and implement cost-control measures to optimize operational profitability. Foster a positive team environment through leadership in hospitality management, encouraging collaboration and accountability. Qualifications Must be available weekends Relative experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity w/ POS systems such as Toast POS along with cash handling expertise. Desired, Not Required - Demonstrated supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on team management and training & development. Familiarity with inventory control procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices aligned with health regulations. Previous management or assistant manager experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities to lead a diverse team. Ability to work amicably amongst the owner and staff Reliable and dependable, w/ strong work ethic
