Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Ensure compliance with state, federal, and sanitation regulations Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance Coordinate resident meal plans with nursing and clinical teams Maintain food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction Control food and labor costs while maintaining excellent service Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Conduct kitchen audits and maintain survey readiness Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare dietary management preferred Knowledge of dietary regulations for skilled nursing facilities Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage staffing and budgets effectively ServSafe certification preferred CDM certification a plus Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance contribution PTO available Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within healthcare leadership
