Restaurant Leader

Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff management to ensure efficiency and quality. Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a high-performance environment. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maintain optimal food and supply levels. Supervise food handling and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining experience for guests. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure proper staffing levels to meet customer demand during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience. Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with hospitality management best practices. Support catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed to diversify revenue streams. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills in team management and training & development. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing. Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Experience in shift management, kitchen management, and restaurant operations within the food industry. Ability to interview candidates effectively and contribute to hiring decisions that strengthen the team.
