Job Description

The Director of the Men's Grille & Locker Room oversees the daily operations, service delivery, and overall member experience in one of Blessings Golf Club's most frequented areas. This individual ensures the Men's Grille provides exceptional food, beverage, and hospitality service while the Locker Room upholds the Club's highest standards of comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail. This position requires a leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and an understanding that consistent visibility, proactive communication, and daily floor presence are vital to success. The Director reports directly to the General Manager and collaborates closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Dining & Events, and other department heads to ensure seamless service. About Blessings Golf Club Blessings Golf Club is a premier private club located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course is home to the University of Arkansas Men's and Women's Golf Teams and has hosted several prestigious events, including the 2019 NCAA Division I Championships and the 2025 Southern Amateur. The Clubhouse, designed by award-winning architect Marlon Blackwell, has been recognized by Architectural Digest as one of the Top Clubhouses in the World. Members enjoy multiple dining venues, world-class locker facilities, and a full-service pool, all reflecting the Club's commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Member Experience & Hospitality
  • Maintain a strong daily presence in the Men's Grille and Locker Room, ensuring an elevated, welcoming, and personalized experience for all members and guests.
  • Build and sustain genuine relationships with members, anticipating their preferences and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
  • Oversee daily dining operations in the Men's Grille, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional coordination with the culinary team.
  • Ensure the Locker Room reflects the Club's standards-clean, comfortable, well-organized, and fully stocked.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality and professionalism that aligns with member expectations. Leadership, Staffing & Team Development
  • Recruit, train, and supervise team members to deliver a member-first experience rooted in professionalism and pride.
  • Ensure all new employees receive thorough orientation and training, supported by ongoing development programs for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee scheduling, labor management, and payroll in accordance with Club standards and financial goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, service training sessions, and performance evaluations to reinforce accountability and communication.
  • Cultivate a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and service excellence. Operations
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets, revenue goals, and forecasts, adjusting as necessary based on performance data and member trends.
  • Review and analyze financial reports to track departmental performance, identify opportunities, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage ordering and inventory control of beverages, supplies, and amenities in accordance with Club standards and budget expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Dining & Events and Executive Chef on menu development, daily specials, and banquet execution to ensure quality and consistency. Administration
  • Ensure accurate billing, member charges, and POS reporting in all areas of operation.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements in the Men's Grille and Locker Room, working closely with the Facilities Manager.
  • Enforce compliance with all state and local regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service. Events & Member Engagement
  • Support Club events involving the Men's Grille and Locker Room, ensuring seamless coordination, polished presentation, and outstanding service.
  • Partner with the Golf Staff and Management Team to enhance member experiences during tournaments, championships, and guest play. Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality, private club, or dining operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for service and daily member interaction.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop cohesive, high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with uncompromising standards for service and presentation.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and POS systems. Education & Technical Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory software.
