Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Service Team Leader and take charge of delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, energetic environment! This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, oversee daily food operations, and ensure top-tier customer service. As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be instrumental in managing food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Your leadership will drive operational excellence while inspiring staff to deliver memorable culinary moments for our guests. Duties Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food preparation, cooking, and customer service. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Coordinate shift management activities, including scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts. Monitor food quality and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance across all menu items. Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety protocols, and budgeting principles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
