Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Wine Club and Tasting Room Manager to lead our vibrant tasting room operations and cultivate an exceptional experience for our wine club members. This role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and operational expertise to create memorable visits, promote our wines, and grow our loyal community. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about wine, hospitality, and team management. You will oversee daily tasting room activities, manage staff training, coordinate events, and ensure smooth administrative processes—all while fostering a welcoming environment that highlights our commitment to quality and service. Duties Lead daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a lively and engaging atmosphere for visitors and wine club members Supervise staff training on wine knowledge, customer service standards, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food handling procedures Manage inventory control for wine bottles, tasting supplies, food offerings, and retail merchandise to optimize stock levels and minimize waste Oversee food preparation and service in the tasting room, including light culinary offerings or snacks that complement our wines Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform cash handling duties; reconcile daily sales reports Coordinate special events such as tastings, wine releases, private parties, or educational classes to enhance guest engagement Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hospitality regulations while maintaining a clean, organized environment Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the tasting room through social media, email campaigns, and local partnerships Assist with budgeting, staffing schedules, shift management, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team atmosphere Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management within a fast-paced environment such as a quick service or fine dining setting Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience preferred for pairing events or light food offerings Expertise in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient cash handling skills Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising staff, training team members, and managing shifts effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create memorable guest experiences in casual or fine dining environments Familiarity with inventory control practices for food and beverage products; experience with food safety standards is essential Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a hospitality setting Experience with event planning, catering coordination or banquet management is a plus Strong communication skills for interviewing staff, providing training & development opportunities, and collaborating across departments Knowledge of the food industry trends related to wine tasting rooms, culinary pairings, and hospitality best practices Join us as we craft memorable experiences that celebrate our wines while building lasting relationships with our guests.
