We're looking for a dependable leader who takes pride in their work and enjoys motivating others to succeed. Position Summary The Lead Sandwich Artisan is responsible for leading by example while preparing exceptional food, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coaching and supporting a team. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and motivate team members throughout each shift. Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards. Ensure food is prepared quickly, accurately, and consistently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper food handling procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest. Restock food, paper products, and supplies throughout the shift. Assist with opening and closing duties. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and health department regulations are followed. Help train new employees and reinforce company standards. Work alongside the team during busy periods and lead by example. Qualifications Current Food Manager Certification is required. Previous restaurant or food service leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
