SNACK BAR

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Snack Bar Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized snack bar area. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or the food industry, with strong skills in POS systems, food handling, and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of snacks, beverages, and light food items with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions, sales, and upselling opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the snack bar area is tidy and organized Support with bussing tables or cleaning work areas as needed to ensure a clean environment Promote sales through upselling techniques to enhance guest experience Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail math is preferred; experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Experience working in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or retail setting is desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning This position provides an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the food industry while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.
