This vital role combines culinary expertise with leadership skills to ensure the efficient preparation, quality control, and safety of all food items. As a key team member, you will manage kitchen staff, coordinate food production processes, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation within the central kitchen. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices. Ensure adherence to quality standards by conducting regular inspections of food products and kitchen cleanliness. Manage shift schedules, assign tasks to team members, and monitor performance to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Handle cash transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS when applicable, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures. Collaborate with restaurant management teams to support catering, banquets, or other special events requiring large-scale food production. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments. Strong background in food safety protocols and food handling regulations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training, and development skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and budgeting responsibilities effectively. Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
